Rules and regulations

  1. A student must report strictly on the opening day before 5:00pm, late coming must be
    explained by the parent.
  2. A student returning to school from home or else where will report to the Headteacher, in
    his absence, she or he should report to the Deputy Headteacher or to the person left with
    responsibility.
  3. (a). A student will leave the school compound with permission of the Head of the school
    and must have got a permission chit. Leaving the school compound without permission
    leads to automatic dismissal from the school.
    (b). A student who will absent him/her self from class or other school activity will be
    treated in same way.
  4. (a). Students shall wear school uniform through out their stay at school, when leaving or
    coming to school.
    (b) A student should not wear ear rings, bungles, caps, hats, necklaces or any other
    ornament on the school uniform. Nails vanish and long nails are not allowed and hair
    must be kept simple, short and tidy.
  5. All students must attend mass, respect church and all the Catholic symbols.
  6. (a)The Official language at school is English.
    (b) use of vulgar and abusive language leads to automatic dismissal.
  7. (a) Theft cases by students are punishable by self-dismissal.
    (b) Likewise, any examination malpractice will lead to dismissal.
  8. (a) Students are not allowed to talk in dormitories after lights are out.
    (b) Private lamps and candles are prohibited.
    (c) No students should visit another dormitory in which she or he does not sleep.
    (d) Boys are not allowed in girls dormitories and likewise.
    (e) Sharing of beds is not allowed.
  9. Taking of alcohol, narcotic drugs or smoking is not allowed in school at any cost, failure
    to observe this rule, will lead to automatic dismissal.
  10. A student should respect and obey all members of staff, students’ leaders and all those in
    position of responsibility.
  11. (a) All dormitories must be kept clean and orderly.
    (b) Visitors are not allowed to enter dormitories.
  12. Teasing and bullying of fellow students is not allowed in this school, doing so leads to
    self dismissal.
  13. (a) A student should greatly take of all the school property in class, dormitory, laboratory,
    library and compound.
    (b) Any vandalizing of school property leads to very severe consequences.
  14. (a) All students must show satisfactory standard in their class examinations performance.
    (b) A student who will fail to meet the school academic standard will automatically
    repeat the class.
  15. Fighting and any kind of aggression will lead to automatic dismissal.
  16. Any un-health relationship e.g. boy – girls love affair, homosexuality lesbianism are
    prohibited.
  17. If at any stage a candidate is found to have given wrong information on the application
    forms, or having fraudulently joined the school, such a candidate will be disqualified
    sand discontinued.
  18. Electricity gadgets except “flat iron boxes” are not allowed in school e.g. mobile phones,
    radios, water boilers etc.
  19. The rules cover all students from S.1 to S.6. Failure to observe and obey the school rules
    and regulations will be a sign of lack of interest and loyalty to the school and thus an act
    of self dismissal.
