LOCATION

Located exactly 00 11 to the south of the equator and 31 52 to the east of the Green-wich meridian.

At an altitude of 1160m above sea level, Kasasa experiences a sub-tropical climate with heavy rains received between March and May and September to November making it a bi-modal. The rainfall amounts received ranges between 1000mm to 1500mm a year. The major type of rainfall received is convection in nature being located just 4km to the west of Lake Victoria, the largest fresh water lake in Africa. Cool temperatures are normally experienced in the morning and night with a cool breeze originating from Lake Victoria and a man-made lake called Ntwatwa name after the former head teacher Bro. Ntwatwa Marius (RIP) and the well preserved trees.

The well kept compound ever, a wide variety of tree species which are none deciduous that give the school that ever green beauty throughout the year. Variety of flowering plants always blossoming give it an extra beauty  and always decorated by bees, birds and other forms of insects this has made the school the most green in the district of Kalungu where nature is preserved in its original form. A 2 hour drive on an all weather road bound surface from Kampala city is enough to usher you to the great Kasasa about 120km along Kampala – Masaka road high way just 3km from Lukaya Town Council and exactly 1km from the main road. Along this road you will inevitably enjoy the scenic beauty of the wonderful swamps, various towns cropping up, the equator monument towards Kayabwe town (NKOZI) which is worthy a stopover. The great Katonga river in its senile stage as it nears the long of its long journey, the Lwera flat land and swamp with glance at Lake Victoria from your left.

As you branch off from the main road a majestic sign post will welcome you to the great  Kasasa stiffly erected to your left, a eucalyptus forest with various gardens welcome you. In a few minutes you will be in the school ready to enjoy that great moment and experience that inevitable beauty.
